Client feedback

"I'm very happy with the quality of their work. Their performance was a decisive factor for us during the RFP process. They were in close competition with another candidate, but we ultimately chose Freeport Metrics because we were comfortable with the quality of their deliverables"

Ewa Rumprecht

Director of Technology Projects, Smile Train

Challenges

Solutions
Maintain access to a global network of doctors in remote regions.

Many patients and doctors of Smile Train come from or operate in places with very limited or no Internet access and out-of-date computers. Freeport Metrics had to ensure that the new platform would use modern technologies.

System reliability.

Smile Train is a global charity with over one million surgeries performed. We had to ensure that our solution worked seamlessly and without problems. Only then could we make sure that our client can rely on it.

Solutions

Results
Technology advisory and consulting.

Throughout the project, we advised Smile Train on the software development processes, introducing up-to-date source code management, testing, and deployment practices to ensure the whole product development process is performed smoothly.

New patient management system.

We developed a new patient management platform to suit Smile Train’s specific needs. We also performed a technology assessment, including a high-level security audit and risk analysis.

Media standardization.

We added a standardization layer to ensure users can view uploaded media. The content is stored in its original format. An asynchronous process converts it to widely-used formats, making information accessible regardless of devices, operating systems, etc.
